Salary: £33,000.00 per year
We are working on behalf of a main contractor who are a growing business, operating a huge number of partnering agreements for responsive repairs and maintenance services across Brighton, Hove, Crawley, and Horsham. We are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their busy team, solely working responsive and planned property repairs.
The hours required are 42.5 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work
- Repairing or replacing skirting boards, floorboards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, door handles and locks, etc.
- Plumbing repairs
- Repairing patching of plaster and replacing small areas of tiles
- Using PDAs / mobiles to complete works, key communications, and updates.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Plastering
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
- Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
- Ability to use hand and power tools

The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in social housing, housing associations or domestic properties.
