Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies.

We have a requirement for a gang that will operate in the Mid Wales area. The gang will comprise of the following roles:

2 Screwman

1 Paver Driver

2 Roller Driver

1 Tractor/3cx Driver

1 Banksman

Role…

  • Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreman
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed
  • Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition
  • Support less experienced operatives
  • Maintain professional working practices
  • Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments
  • Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns
  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification

Requirements…

  • Previous Surfacing Experience
  • CSCS card and driving license are essential for all roles
  • Paver, Roller and Tractor Drivers will be required to hold MPQC/CPCS tickets for the relevant plant
