Location: Leeds area based, you'll work from home, with regular weekly travel to site

Responsibilities
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the water team overseeing work on the Yorkshire Water contract. Projects will include enhancement to treatment works, water quality and capacity improvements and other design and build projects. You will be overseeing the commercial resources and project teams, using your commercial expertise you will maximise the cashflow and margin as well as assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing and developing the commercial team, ensuring commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised
- Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
- Producing accurate forecasts / budget information, ensuring contract commercial deliverables and timescales are met
- Ensuring works are valued, including any variation, in accordance with the contract and monitoring monthly CVR reviews, supporting the head of commercial
What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:
- Proven experience in a similar role or ready to step up to the next level in your career from Senior.
- Clean and wastewater schemes as well as mixed-use project experience valued up to £50m. Or within in a transferable utility industry.
- Practice working on 2 Stage Bids and involved from project inception to completion
