Quantity Surveyor

I am currently working with a national house builder who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a 6 month basis to work on new developments in Harrogate. Working from site (open to hybrid working) you will be reporting to the Commercial Director, managing the complete payment processes, contractual obligations and procurement. This is due to run until the back end of 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the payment process for sub-contractors
  • Sub-contractor procurement
  • Manage site start budgets
  • Attend management and site meetings which will vary in location
  • Host regular sub-contractor performance review meetings
  • Approve labour & other sub-contractor payments

The Ideal Candidate

  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry
  • Strong experience in quantity surveying
  • Good knowledge of commercial and financial management controls
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
