This leading MEP contractor are seeking an Mechanical Package Manager/Supervisor to oversee Mechanical operations on a large-scale Data Centre project. You will have the responsibility of supervising and coordinating the construction activities of various subcontractors, foreman and chargehands. Roles and responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating the construction activities of various subcontractors, foreman and chargehands.
  • Ensuring works are complete in line with timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project.
  • Taking responsibility for health and safety on site and leading by example, including arrangement of high risk activity permits and method statements.
  • Organising the required labour, machinery, equipment and materials required to complete the construction works.
  • Ensuring construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications.
  • Analysing and quickly resolving any work problems and may arise and ensuring that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
  • Communicating project progress to key stakeholders, clients, architects and engineers to Dornan management and General Contractor.
  • Close liaison with the engineering team to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the latest relevant information.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience leading large teams, motivating the team to reach key milestones.
  • Experience in Data Centre or pharmaceutical construction projects would be desirable.
