Associate Director Job in Reading, Berkshire
I have Associate Director job available with a growing planning consultancy in their regional office in Reading. They are open to either an Associate Director or Director level candidate and offering a competitive package including a bonus and hybrid working.
This planning consultancy have five offices across the UK and employee around 40 people. As the successful Associate Director or Director, you'll be working closely with the other Directors and will be taking the lead on complex projects within various sectors such as residential developments, creative and film studios, local plans, land promotion, commercial and much more.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take the lead on projects
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Provide advice on planning matter to clients
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Negotiate, draft, and provide legal instructions to facilitate the preparation of planning agreements and infrastructure funding deeds with industry, agencies, and Councils, as required
- Meet company expectations regarding fee earning targets
- Optimise new business and cross-selling opportunities
- Mentor and support other members of the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Chartered RTPI Membership
- Relevant planning degree
- Previous experience in the private sector
- Experience taking the lead on projects
- Previous experience mentoring staff.
