Location: Can be based out of our Exeter, Hatherleigh, St Austell or Roche office
Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible/ part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.
In this role, you will be working on our South West Water framework, and as Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out outline and detailed electrical design and supporting calculations.
Your day to day will include:
- Preparing schedules, drawings, Single Line Diagrams and specifications
- Undertaking and assisting others with the preparations of CDM PCI documentation
- Attending site visits and meeting on Water & Wastewater Treatments Works
- Working closely with operational staff to ensure needs are understood and met
Who are we looking for?
This role of Electrical Design Engineer is great for you if you hold:
- Industry applicable ONC/ HNC/ B.Eng or NQV equivalent
- Experience of low voltage electrical installation design at all stages form concept to completion
- Proficient in the use of Auto CAD & Amtech software and knowledge of BS7671
