We're looking for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our Delivery Team based in Loughton. Within this role working among a great team, assessing the electrical works carried out by our supply chain on both internal and external work streams


Location: Loughton

Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know



Responsibilities



As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you'll be working within the Delivery Team, supporting them in various areas.



Your day to day will include:



  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Management System, compliance with contract quality requirements and the compilation of records to demonstrate the conformity of the works.
  • To liaise effectively with the client's representative and work colleagues as necessary with regard to any matters both through formal and informal meetings.
  • Ensure that agreed quality controls in place are fully understood and implemented.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day safety, technical standard and quality of the Electrical Work carried out under your supervision.
  • Ensure that results of inspection and testing are properly recorded on the appropriate prescribed forms of certification and reporting, and for reviewing and confirming that the results recorded are acceptable.




What are we looking for?



This role of Electrical Qualified Supervisor is great for you if you:



  • Good IT skills is desirable and may have done the QS role previously. Well versed in domestic electrical systems and have a good understanding on commercial systems.
  • Have a minimum of two years responsibility for the technical standard of electrical work
  • Conversant with the Electricity at Work Regulations, BS 7671, associated guidance material, appropriate British Standards, other Industry Codes of Practice, and Building Regulations
