Kier Highways Major Projects has an upcoming scheme based in Southwest England which requires commercial management. The project is part of the Regional Delivery Partnership (RDP) on behalf of Highways England. We're looking for a Commercial Manager who will be responsible for managing a team of senior quantity surveyors and quantity surveyors, developing and implementing the strategies necessary to maximize margins and cashflows, mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement group policies. Location: Gloucester & Southwest England, will be agile working to begin with until the new compound is built you will then be required on site in the Southwest

Contract: Permanent Fulltime.

Salary: £70k-95k



Responsibilities

As a commercial manager, you'll be responsible for all aspects of commercial management on projects forming part of National Highways RDP framework

Your day to day will include:

  • ensure commercial controls are in place for all work undertaken
  • implement commercial practise in line with Kier's commercial standards
  • manage risks associated with delivery of all workstreams
  • report risks, financial performance and progress to the senior leadership team

Who are we looking for?

This role of commercial manager is great for you if have:
  • academic and professional qualifications
  • experience managing major civil engineering projects with values in excess of £250m+
