Town Planner Job in Stoke, Staffordshire
I have Town Planner job available with a top 50 law firm in their regional office in Stoke. They are open to either a Town Planner or Senior Planner and offering a competitive salary DOE.
This law firm have multiple offices across the UK and employee around 1500 people. As the successful Town Planner or Senior Town Planner, you'll be working closely with the Director and will be involved within various sectors such as residential, retail, local plans, policy, major applications and much more.
Role & Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Give advice on planning matters
- Assess the land development against the company criteria
- Attend internal and external meetings throughout the planning process
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Preparing monthly progress reports
- Work closely with the land and technical teams
- Support the Associate Director and Director.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Ideally chartered or working towards
- Experienced with planning for volume residential developments ideally
- UK volume residential experience from a housebuilder or consultancy.
