Location: Winchester or Aylesford - there will be a requirement to carry out regular site and depot/office visits
Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know
Salary: £competitive + £6.1k car allowance
Responsibilities
As a Regional Health and Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of all Health & Safety supports to the South East region business units and wholly consistent with Kier's SHE policies and procedures.
Your day to day will include:
- ensuring the Business Units are compliant with all Kier IMS and contract specific requirements
- report on H&S performance to the Regional Board
- ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are correctly reported and investigated in accordance with Kier Group SHE policies and procedures.
- encourage and support the creation of a functional culture that embraces and supports H&S principles and goals
- provide leadership / support across the Business Stream and supply chain
- to lead and co-ordinate interactions with relevant statutory bodies and regulatory agencies e.g. Health and Safety Executive
- implementing Kier Group's Integrated Management System (IMS), policy and procedures and all legal requirements
What are we looking for?
This role of Regional Health and Safety Manager is great for you if are a:
- Chartered SHE professional or equivalent CMIOSH (or demonstrable IPD / CPD equivalent)
- CSCS card
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 Standards
- ISO systems - lead auditor
- Full UK Driving Licence
