The Renewco Power Graduate Programme allows you to experience working in all the departments that make up an end-to-end utility scale early stage development company.

From day one you'll be hands-on, guided by our experienced specialist teams (including wind, solar, storage and green hydrogen) learning from and supporting them in all aspects of our projects. You will be developed through a hands on full programme, learning the fundamentals of renewable energy project development from securing sites, planning and other approvals as well as designing the optimal technical solution for the project and arranging finance. You'll gain an understanding of financial modelling in order to learn what and how a project 'stacks up', conduct new market entry studies and get involved in other exciting technical projects.

You will also be:

  • Assisting in managing the planning, development and project management processes of assigned projects
  • Visiting sites and reaching agreement with landowners through to instructing lawyers to conclude lease agreements
  • Performing feasibility studies for new sites
  • Screening sites through GIS mapping
  • Producing layouts, single line diagrams and energy reports
  • Engaging with communities and stakeholders
  • Progress and management reporting

Qualifications and experience needed to apply:

  • Strong interest in the environment and renewable energy
  • A desire to build a career in the renewable energy industry
  • Technical skills, ideally working knowledge of CAD and GIS software
  • Confident using Windows based software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • An innovative approach to problem solving and be able to visualise and communicate ideas
  • An interest in business and the environmental impact of design ideas
  • On track to achieve a B or higher (ECTS) in a related degree
  • Must be fluent in English which is the business language
