KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from £5m to £80m. The business has a full design, construct and commissioning capability. Key Responsibilities
Within the role, the incumbent will be responsible for:
· The role will report to a MEP Project Manager and have full responsibility for the delivery of the electrical services supported by a mechanically biased colleague
· Responsibilities for management and control of off-site manufacture production, logistics and installation
· There will be additional responsibility for sectional external electrical services distribution across the project.
What do we need from you?
You will have proven experience in Electrical Engineering and have a sound knowledge and understanding of MEP systems. Ideally, you will have experience working with a leading national or regional contractor across custodial, healthcare, education or science projects.
Applicants will have demonstratable experience in people management, Programme and Sequence management, and in safe control of mechanical systems. You should also be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in digital construction methods BIM & Field tools, commercial awareness and risk management
