Location: Dummer, Site based
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime (part-time working available, just let us know)

Responsibilities
As a Technology Engineer, you'll be working as a key member of Kier South East Technology Maintenance Team on its Maintenance & Response contracts. As a Technology engineer, you will have the responsibility for delivering cyclical and reactive maintenance activities on the strategic road network on technologies such as CCTV, Emergency Telephones and Message Signs.
Your day to day will include:
- Undertake electrical and electronic diagnostic checks on highways technology assets in line with reactive maintenance requirements
- Completion of planned cyclical maintenance, inspections and reporting in line with defined schedules
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to current electrical and Highway Communications standard
- Fault response to urgent faults and emergency incidents outside of normal working hours on a rota basis
- Report directly to the Regional Technology Service Manager on health and safety progress during shifts they are working on
Who are we looking for?
This role of Technology Engineer is great for you if you have:
- Experience working as a Highway technology maintenance engineer
- Understanding of National Highways technology systems including TPMS, COBS and its subsystems, display equipment, CCTV, digital storage devices and motorway communications
- Knowledge and application of current technologies, standards and best practice relating to National Highways Motorway and trunk road communications systems
