Salary: £26,491.44 per year
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Damp and Mould Operative to join the responsive repairs team at an award-winning housing association. You will be responsible for completing repairs in customer's homes.
The hours required are 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities of a Damp and Mould Operative are:
- Working in a semi-skilled labourer role to complete maintenance on properties suffering from damp and mould issues
- Delivering a high quality maintenance service to buildings and other client's properties in accordance with Company plans and legislation
- Any other duties to include but not limited to first line maintenance on plumbing, carpentry and plastering.
Requirements of a Damp and Mould Operative are:
- Experience in a relevant skill
- A working knowledge of repairs and maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
- Experience of working within the social housing environment (desirable)
Benefits for the Damp and Mould Operative role:
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday
- Compressed working hours (4 day working week)
- Company work van and fuel card (work use only)
- 25 days per year increasing by one day per completed holiday year to 30 days maximum
- £900.00 each year in April to spend on flexible benefits
- Performance bonus up to 4.5% of salary
The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in social housing, housing associations, or domestic properties.
