As a Key Account Manager (KAM) /Hospital & Specialty Care Representative you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering outstanding services on behalf of one of our key partners, Pharmanovia.

About the role:
You'll be promoting and launching Pharmanovia's brands, delivering sales presentations to current and prospective customers, both face to face and remotely. As a result of these exciting new opportunities and acquisitions, we are looking for experienced KAMs with an exceptional track record in sales success and new product launches. You will have the energy and drive to seek new opportunities for business growth, tenaciously removing barriers and building new relationships.
For this specific role, experience in the sleep therapy area is desirable. Knowledge of sleep products, sleep centres and specialty HCPs involved in sleep conditions would be considered a major advantage.
Working within your assigned territory, which includes Berlin, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern you'll be engaging with HCPs and pharmacists within the specialty care and hospital setting.
You will be well supported by an established marketing and market access team and receive product and skills training to support your daily promotional activities. You will be expected to promote a range of Pharmanovia products of which an important focus will be on the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness in adults with narcolepsy or OSA.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Achievement of sales, activity targets and KPIs
- Develop and implement key account plans, ensuring a stakeholder map of key influencers drives targeting and influencing of business critical HCPs
- Adopt and implement omni-channel promotional strategies effectively with the right customers in order to deliver brand messages to the engagement preferences of HCPs
- Demonstrate consistent and regularly updated product and disease area knowledge to enable "trusted advisor" status with target HCPs
- Work with data insights and sales manager to ensure that accounts and HCPs are optimally targeted through CRM to allow effective levels of engagement that will drive regular and targeted influencing of the HCPs that have biggest impact on growth
- Manage CRM system regularly to ensure all customer contacts and account plan actions are kept up to date and accurate, ensuring minimum usage standards are met
- Demonstrate a full understanding of your country, region and account level healthcare systems and policies which impact the brands and disease areas you promote within, including local level market access processes and how to navigate them to ensure optimal outcomes for Pharmanovia brands
- Liaise internally and externally with procurement customers to ensure supply of products is managed as efficiently and cost effectively as possible, proactively highlighting issues and supporting processes
- Build and maintain effective business relationships, including scientific affairs, customer services, marketing, logistics, planning, finance and senior management, ensuring appropriate internal resource is allocated to impact an excellent service level for key accounts
About you:
- Life Sciences Degree (BSC)
- Experience working in a customer-facing pharmaceutical KAM role
- Demonstrable knowledge of local customer/accounts and relevant disease area
- Understanding of local healthcare environment.
- Experience in face to face and remote e-detailing will be advantageous
- Experienced negotiator
- Must be competent in using technology
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess excellent presentation and selling skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and reprioritise workload depending on program needs
- Ability to multi-task between numerous websites and applications
