Location: Birmingham with hybrid working available

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime (Part-time working available, just let us know)

Salary: Competitive + Car + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits



As an Asset Manager, you'll lead a team managing all highways asset information using and Asset Management System and Geographical Information Systems (GIS), as part of the Birmingham Highways Interim Services Contract being delivered by Kier.

Your day to day will include:

· Lead the highways Asset Management Team maintaining asset information for all highways assets on the Birmingham network

· Manage inventory and condition data for highways assets using the "Confirm" Asset Management System

· Manage condition surveys of highways pavement assets by external contractors using DVI, Grip Tester, SCRIM, SCANNER and Deflectograph

· Manage the collection and updating of asset data in an accurate and time fashion using in-house and/or external resources

· Advise the client organisations (BHL/BCC) on future works programmes and priorities using pavement modelling



Who are we looking for?

This role of Asset Manager is great for you if you have:

· Extensive experience in Highways Asset Management and highways pavement design/engineering materials and maintenance

· Experience in using GIS systems, Asset Management Systems (such as Confirm) and MS Office products especially Excel to a good standard

· Experience of managing a technical team
