Position: Financial Accountant (Part- Time)
Location: Kilkenny/ Carlow Border
Salary: Neg DOE
The Company:
A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a part time Financial Accountant who will support the Financial Controller in all areas of finance.
There will be an element of remote working available with this role.
This is a finance role within a busy finance function of a growing organisation. This role reports to the Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations including stock valuations and maintaining fixed asset register
- Preparation of key reports
- Preparation and filing of VAT and Intrastat returns for Ireland and UK and other statutory returns
- Preparation of year end audit files
- Agree appropriate pricing points to optimise revenue and margin performance
- Preparation of monthly/bi-monthly costing reviews
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified or Part Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
- Possess strong organisational, analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Work well, both in a team and under one's own initiative.
