Architectural Technologist Job in Mitcham, Surrey

Our client currently has an Architectural Technologist job available, for a job running Technologist who is looking to take a lead role in the running of commercial, mixed-use, and residential projects.

This construction and property development company is made up of estimators and engineers, who you would work closely with in the technical team on a variety of projects.
They are currently seeking a job running Architectural Technologist to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Production of detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules, for a variety of projects in compliance with building codes, regulations, and latest standards for a range of projects
  • Oversee the review and evaluation of contractor bids and ensure compliance with design documents during construction and coordinate with contractors, other consultants, and design team members
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and any issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support Junior team members with best practices, developing skills and knowledge
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and building codes for adequate design solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Degree in Architecture /Architectural Technology
  • Experience in stages 4-5 on mixed-use commercial and residential projects
  • Project experience in multistorey buildings would be highly advantageous
  • Able to manage project costs
  • Proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCAD is essential
  • Experience working projects at BIM level 2
  • Ability to manage a project and take a lead role in the team.
