My client is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team, focusing on planned works in the social housing sector (Retro Fit division).
Projects will be Central London based.
This is an opportunity to work for one of the leading Construction and Social Housing groups in the UK.
What does a Contracts Manager role entail?
- Manage and oversee the entire life cycle of social housing planned works, with a specialisation in retro fit projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project delivery within budget and time constraints.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues or delays proactively.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, housing associations, and other stakeholders.
Requirements for the Contracts Manager role:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, specifically in social housing planned works and retro fit projects.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, energy-efficiency measures, and retrofit techniques.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
