Working Schedule: Hybrid working (3-4 days in the office per week)
We are seeking talented engineers with a proven track record in designing and delivering complex and challenging projects using the latest technologies. As a Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Technical Managers and Integration Engineers to translate customer requirements into compelling designs, bids, and solutions that can be delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret customer requirements
- Create high-level and detailed system designs
- Develop potential solution options
- Familiarity with competitors and suppliers
- Conduct subsystem and component studies
- Evolve and innovate existing solutions while generating new ideas
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of Enterprise, Project, or System Level Design Solutions
- Requirements definition and analysis
- Ensure compliance with requirements and design-to-cost principles
- Verification and validation
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop supplier statements of work
- Experience in supplier and customer engagement
- Beneficial understanding of MoD contracts and bids
- Familiarity with military IT, communications, platforms, gateways, and networking systems
- Knowledge of security architectures, system integration, virtualization, cloud, and accreditation
- Experience with integration of systems into military vehicles
- Understanding of acceptance, trials, demonstrations, and delivery processes
