Key Accountabilities:

  • Task managing and supporting projects to deliver improvements in project and Business information management within the area of responsibility
  • Act as the Information Systems project coordinator for our Client within the Strategic Weapons System contract taking the lead for all I.T development and projects and ensuring our Client and depot wide compliance with the relevant policies and procedures
  • Provide project management support for all our Client related I.T systems and act as project manager for all AWE installations within the depot
  • Contribute to, implement and maintain Business information management plans for the lifecycle of information
  • Deliver the activities associated with the role of IT Security Officer for our Client as laid down in the SWS Contract
  • SWS contract subject matter expert resource for further in-depth expertise in information and project management support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage and monitor relevant project service delivery according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and project mandates as required
  • Providing information and knowledge management support to key business functions
  • To help project management teams optimise their use of collaboration platforms to exploit information and knowledge assets
  • Work with relevant Project Teams to implement and progress the company Project support and Information Management Plan
  • To inform business stakeholders of better use of information and knowledge management tools and techniques
  • Providing expert advice, training and guidance on knowledge and information management policies, standards, legislation and company processes and procedures
  • To promote and develop better understanding of the benefits of effectively using management systems with appropriate design and information retention responsibilities
  • Managing the lifecycle of physical and electronic information assets in a variety of forms and repositories
  • Assisting with the security and integrity of information pertaining to electronic and physical information and systems
  • Implement, manage and monitor services delivery according to the needs of the business function or project team requirements
  • Act as Project Manager for any Company related I.T projects on site and act as co-ordinator with Company colleagues to manage implementations
  • Coordinate all responsibilities for the management of various Business Support functions including IT Security tasks such as password control management, laptop management and asset control of various IT systems ensuring correct registration and accreditation procedures are followed with the assistance of the Business Support Officer
  • Continually develop IT security awareness for Our staff in accordance with both and depot procedures and policies
  • Provide a central point of contact on all Business Support, IT Security related issues and act as a point of contact for General Security issues in the absence of the Business Security Manager
