JOB DESCRIPTION:
Gas Safe Plumber required for a large nationwide construction company that specialises in insurance projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking gas safe plumber to join a project based in Birmingham.
This Gas Safe Plumber contract will be ongoing, with hours being 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday and the potential option to work overtime at the weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance work in line with insurance claims and policies.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify the cause and extent of plumbing issues, and provide accurate assessments and cost estimates.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions, ensuring all repairs meet safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with insurance assessors, claims handlers, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and efficient solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including job reports, completion certificates, and parts used, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients and addressing any concerns or queries.
Requirements for the role
- Gas Safe registered with relevant qualifications and certifications.
- Proven experience as a plumber, specifically within insurance works.
- Sound knowledge of insurance processes, policies, and requirements.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and estimate repair costs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
