Position: Project Administrator/Document Controller - Construction

Location: Offaly

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Office Based Administration for various projects and maintaining the project files (soft and hard copies as required) and keep up to date.
  • Document Control - Obtain, Organize & Maintain Construction Documents as required. Register all drawings, circulate to Site Management Team, and remove superseded drawings from system - storing as appropriate for records.
  • BCAR Admin - Assist in obtaining the relevant BCAR documentation and Ancillary Certs, etc. from the various sub-trades for the project and issuing to the Assigned Certifier at regular intervals. Assist the Management in ensuring that our responsibilities in relation to BCAR are fulfilled.
  • Quality Control - Obtain, Organize & Maintain Construction Documents as required with particular emphasis on inspection and testing of materials.
  • Support the Safety Officer/ Management in the safe keeping of All Health & Safety paperwork and ensure adherence to and implementation of the Safety Management System.
  • Assist the Management with the timely Placement of Orders to Maintain Inventory of Required Site Materials and facilitate the Purchase Order system that will be in place for the project.
  • Assist with ISO
  • Small tools register/calibration renewals
  • Assist with Continued Professional Development register.
  • Organising and liaising with suppliers to get prices for supplies
  • Chasing subcontractors for various documents and induction paperwork
  • Updating and maintaining H&S Certs - NISO/CIRI/CIF
  • Organising site folders and creating site induction videos
  • Completing company inductions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within construction is dersiable
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player
