About the role

We are looking for a 1st Line IT Support Analyst to assist the smooth functioning of our IT systems for both LiFE Residential and Galliard Homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for an entry level role with the room for progression & training.

As a key member of our support team, you will be the first port of call responsible for logging incidents/requests and as ensuring end-user satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving across our UK and overseas offices.

  • Provide 1st line technical support via various channels (phone, email, chat, or in person) to internal users and external support.
  • Log and maintain accurate records of support requests, incidents, and resolutions using Manage Engine Service Desk Plus.
  • Highlight and escalate recurring problems to internal support teams.
  • Basic IT administration and 1st line incident resolution of Windows 10, MS Office, Citrix, iOS, and other business-related applications.
  • Carrying out and recording routine maintenance checks.
  • Educate end-users on basic system operations, including software functionality and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements to provide proactive support and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Participating in our Help Desk shift patterns.
  • Providing remote support to our overseas offices and the occasional need to visit sites across London and Birmingham.

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a logical approach in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues as well as proficient in Windows 10 and Microsoft office 365.
