My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Civil Site Manager to start work on various sites across the North East.
Working for a reputable, well established Groundworks & Civils firm, on a temp-perm basis.
Duties
- Liaising with the clients, suppliers, head office and operatives / contractors.
- Ensuring that no work commences on site until all Health & Safety documentation is in place.
- Ensuring that the project is tidy and well presented throughout the construction process.
- Working closely with the Company's Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to formulate the application for payment.
- Ensuring all variations are recorded to allow the QS to include within the application for payment including supporting documentation such as marked up drawings and photos.
- Reporting back to the office on all plant used on the site and ensuring all plant is efficiently used and off-hired as soon as necessary.
- To ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place.
- Providing leadership and support to operatives, sub-contractors and head office.
- Expedite materials and information release from design team.
- Supervising the quality of the works and hand over a snag free project.
Requirements
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Driving License
- Previous supervisory experience in construction industry (N.H.B.C awareness).
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager and be able to provide references to validate this
- Proof of right to work documents
