We have an immediately available opportunity for a Ganger to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - Southwest Water team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme. Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.



In the role of Ganger, you will work closely in a team and other colleagues to work on schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering and large and complex mains repairs. Importantly, as part of our close-knit team, you will also play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, creating a secure and protected work environment which is always the highest priority at Kier.



Location: Based from our Bournemouth depot

Contract: Permanent - Full time

Salary: Weekly paid, hourly rate £13ph to £15ph, dependant on experience



Responsibilities

As a Ganger for the South West Water team your day-to-day will include:

· Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets.

· Communicating with the ganger and other colleagues as required updating them on progress

· Coordinating all site activities



Who are we looking for?

· Previous Utilities experience is required

· Full UK Driving Licence

· CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Trained (can obtained in the role)
