Position: Skilled Handyman (Joiner, pre paint repairs)
Location: Ludlow
Ongoing work- start immediately
Responsibilities:
- Undertake pre paint repairs on council homes, including but not limited to repairs on doors, windows, skirting boards, and other joinery elements.
- Inspect and assess the condition of joinery components, identifying any defects or damages that require repair or replacement.
- Perform joinery repairs efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring the longevity and durability of the repaired items.
- Collaborate with the painting team to ensure a smooth work flow and timely completion of projects.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs undertaken and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably with experience in pre paint repairs.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to assess and diagnose joinery defects and provide effective solutions.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to joinery work.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Own tools
