With a high level of repeat business this firm's Birmingham office is particularly busy within hospitality and leisure sectors and provide a full Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent service to some of the biggest brands in the industry. In addition to an already busy workload with existing clients the Birmingham team has been sought out by new clients and are now looking to add an Trainee Quantity Surveyor to their team. Their work includes both programmes of refurbishments and new build projects.
We're looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You will be currently studying towards a degree in Quantity Surveying and be looking for an opportunity to gain experience alongside university studies. This role does involve a certain amount of autonomy from the beginning and the successful candidate will be taking on a client facing role. So strong communication skills are important, as is the ability to organise yourself well, hit deadlines and have excellent time management skills. If you're looking to gain more hands on experience as a Quantity Surveyor this would be ideal.
You MUST be able to drive and have access to a vehicle and be within commuting distance of Birmingham.
