JOB TITLE: Shop fitter

INDUSTRY: Building and Construction

START DATE: ASAP

SALARY BAND: £16ph - £19ph

LOCATION: South Molton

Shop fitter required in South Molton to join our client's team on a shop fit . Reporting to the Site Manager the day-to-day duties will involve working through snag lists to get the shop to a standard and ready for handover.

The ideal Shop fitter will be reliable, competent in finishing work and have experience in shop fit or snagging on shop fitout.

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Patching/ filling
  • Painting
  • Basic carpentry (adjusting doors and cabinets etc)
  • Keeping working area clean and tidy
  • Replacing ceiling tile
  • Fitting mirrors
  • Reporting progress and any additional snags/defects to Site Manager
  • Basic plumbing
  • Tiling

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • PPE
  • Own tools
  • Previous experience on a shop fit
