We're looking for a Traffic Management (TM) Designer to join our Transportation team based in the South-East Region (Area 3&4) to provide safe and compliant traffic management designs across the South-East Strategic Road Network. You'll have a broad knowledge of traffic management legislation (TSRGD DMRB) Guidance (Chapter 8). Within this role, you can enjoy a company car or car allowance, competitive annual leave with the option to buy/sell and even more.

Location: South-East England - remote working available, with travel to site and office when required

Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: £34k - £38k FTE



Responsibilities

As a TM Designer you'll provide clear and compliant traffic management design in readiness for works delivery

Your day to day will include:

  • taking lead role in a traffic management design meetings and site visits in order to create safe and compliant traffic management
  • taking an active role in internal and external safety and compliance audits in relation to traffic management design
  • proactivity recommend efficiencies to the customer that can achieve both time and cost savings to benefit invested parties.
  • participate on a rostered out of hours traffic management design function in order to provide a complete package of traffic management design support
  • assist Line Manager with traffic management forums, meetings, and seminars.




  • What are we looking for?

    This role of Traffic Management Designer is great for you if have:

  • Institute of Highways Engineer TTME
  • Traffic Safety Supervisor (TSS) or Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO)
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
  • NHSS 12D M7
  • AutoCAD/Cone 11 Software experience
