Responsibilities
As a Information Security Manager you'll be working within the Major Projects team
Your day to day will include:
- Oversee the control and management of project information and access requirements for the project Common Data Environment, in collaboration with Document Controllers.
- Assist with the investigation of any suspected or actual security events which impact on the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information, conduct root cause analysis, raise Lessons Identified, implement remedial action, and cascade findings to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop relationships to help promote and improve information security practices.
- Perform periodic internal IT security control assessments, produce associated risk reports, and inform management and parent companies on reported risk exposures and proposed mitigation.
- Conduct risk assessments where compliance requirements cannot be met, develop remediation plans where required, and ensure that a risk owner is identified and informed for such risks.
Who are we looking for?
This role of Information Security Manager is great for you if:
- Information Security-based degree, CISM or relevant experience.
- Lead Auditor experience and certification for ISO 27001:2022.
- Comprehensive understanding of the requirements of the Government Security Policy Framework, Government Function Standard 007, Government Security Classifications Policy, Industry Security Notices, Defence Conditions and Standards and Security Aspects Letters.
- Understanding of the MOD Cyber Security Model and the process of registration and assurance of supplier IT systems.
- Understanding of ISO 19650 - Building Information Modelling, in particular Part 5, Built Asset Security Information Requirements.
Due to the site being a high security military navy base, we require additional security checks which can take up to 8 weeks, in extreme circumstances some roles on this contract are only available to British nationals .
