Job title: Site Manager (high rise)
Location: Wolverhampton
Immediate start. Perm role.
We are looking for a High rise Site Manager experienced in EWI and Retrofit works. The position is full time and will be based in Wolverhampton. The candidate will form part of a busy team and will need experience of EWI and Retrofit and refurbishment works, be able to understand and drawings and scopes, be proactive towards health and safety, have a good eye for detail and be able to manage multiple trades. Qualifications SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid. Salary is 40K - 42K plus car allowance £4,560 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of EWI projects on tower blocks, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the project team, including subcontractors, architects, and engineers, to coordinate and supervise EWI activities on site.
- Monitor the progress of EWI installations, quality of workmanship, and compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or risks and take appropriate corrective measures.
- Assist in managing the procurement of materials and equipment required for EWI works, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Help maintain accurate documentation, including site records, progress reports, and safety records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
- Support effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a construction-related role, with a focus on EWI works and tower blocks.
- CSCS, FIRST AID, SMSTS
- Solid understanding of EWI installation techniques, processes, and industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, health and safety practices, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- A degree or diploma in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
