We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based either in Exeter, Hatherleigh or Victoria (Roche). Within this role you can enjoy hybrid working, a company car or cash allowance and 26 days annual leave with opportunities to buy or sell additional leave.



Location: Mixture of chosen office and remote working, along with regular travel to sites. The role will become predominantly site based for the duration of major scheme delivery.



Contract: Permanent- Full Time- part time/ flexible hours may be available, just let us know.



Responsibilities

Our team is expanding and in this role you will be working on our MEICA Framework for South West Water.



As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial resources (people and finance) of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contract and subcontracts.



Your day to day will include:

  • Procurement of subcontractors in line with our commercial standards, ensuring best value to Kier and our client
  • Reviewing and approving tender submissions
  • Feed into month end reporting and ensure cash flow is maximised
  • Accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Working with the operations team to ensure sound cost management
  • Submission of change management notifications under the NEC form of contract

    This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:



    · You hold a degree of equivalent in Quantity Surveying

    · Experience working on NEC form of contracts
