Kier Construction have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Devon & Cornwall Region.



Location: Cornwall

Contract: Permanent, full time



Key Responsibilities

Initially, you will be aligned with a major build project in Cornwall. As a Quantity Surveyor with our Devon & Cornwall team you will?manage the commercial resources of the assigned project to maximise cashflow and margin.?You will also support the Project team with Commercial and Contractual expertise.?Assess, review and mitigate Commercial and Contractual risks and implement Kier Groups policies for risk management.?Preparation and presentation of monthly Cost Reports.?Value works executed by Sub-Contractors and certify interim and final payments.?



What we need from you:

Working on education, commercial, leisure, healthcare, MOD and mixed-use projects valued up to £60m, we are looking for like for like industry experience.? We will also need you to be educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, have proven experience in a similar role and be an excellent communicator, as well as a thorough understanding of both JCT & NEC contract options
