Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working within our internal design team across a varied workload of projects ranging from commercial, healthcare, defence, science and education. As a senior engineer you would be responsible for the development of designs from early stages though to complete working/installation level for our construction delivery team. As part of a team of Engineers, Building Physics, design managers and Revit Technicians you will lead the development of the design and would also be engaged with the technical evaluation during project tender phase and production / of the design programme. We will look to you to drive innovative enhancing opportunities for MMC and cost-effective solutions into the design.

What do we need from you?

You will have proven experience in Mechanical design in a consultancy and or Contracting environment with a Degree or HNC/D in building services or Mechanical Engineering. Ideally, you will have experience working with a leading national or regional contractor. Experience using AutoCAD/Revit/Revizto would be useful but not essential.

You will need to be able to establish and develop good working relationships with both professionals and internal/external clients and our supply chain and be able to work with minimal supervision, prioritising your workload, to meet deadlines.
