As a Project Sites IT Regional Manager given previous complex infrastructure experience, you will deliver IT solutions and gain huge satisfaction in achieving set goals.

Our Mission is to provide the information systems and services that will underpin the evolving/emerging business model. The purpose of the role is to ensure the business and the team is always operating as effectively as possible continually improving the way we deliver technology.

You as an IT Regional Manager will have previous experience in People management and engagement focusing on delivering project sites, supporting the business and providing IT as a service.

Role and Responsibility

  • Liaison with the business and supplier with a view to providing regular communications on project updates
  • Manage the team and programme of implementations within the dedicated region
  • Co-ordinate, manage and where necessary implement solutions in line with approved designs (Project Site Blue Print and Infrastructure documentation
  • Ensure the team Deliver against activities in project plans, reporting progress.
  • Manage allocated risks and ensure that any problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented, in line with change control processes.
  • An ability to repeat success in product and service delivery through a defined set of IT standards & and methods and supporting policies & and governance.
  • Understand the process and requirements for Projects and JV (joint Venture) Clients from simple to complex proposals, including liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Create detailed Project Charter, IT Estimating model and supporting documentation (Project plans / Site delivery milestones) for the requirements
  • Liaison with the business and supplier with a view to providing regular communications on project updates
  • Co-ordinate, manage and where necessary implement solutions in line with approved designs (Project Site Blue Print and Infrastructure documentation) from the infrastructure team
  • Manage allocated risks and ensure that any problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented, in line with change control processes.
  • Ensure all documentation/systems are updated ensuring 100% accuracy

Key Skills & Competencies

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Implementation and Support in a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL framework with specific experience in managing problem, change & incident management
  • Analytical skills, being able to quickly acquire an understanding of a problem or situation and identify practical alternatives weighing up the benefits to recommend a solution
  • Ability to understand complex requirements and then to communicate complex systems to a non-technical audience
  • Influencing skills - Ability to make things happen when not in a position of direct control.
  • Sound decision-making
  • Able to participate as a member of a multi-disciplined team
  • Aware of basic principles of life cycle testing
  • Able to provide and apply best practice infrastructure techniques (Ideally gained from large organisation experience).
