Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

We are a dog grooming salon and pet boutique located in Fulham (SW6).

Requirements :

We are looking for a talented and experienced dog groomer, giving excellent customer service, with a great eye for detail and a passion for grooming dogs to join our small team. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of dog breeds and standard cuts. Comfortable with any breed and size, he is able to complete them independently and to a high standard with different grooming techniques including hand-stripping. A grooming qualification is preferred (for example City & Guilds Level 3 or ICMG) but the most important requirement is that you have at least two years of experience in a grooming salon as a professional groomer.

Responsibilities :

    • Consulting with the clients as to preferences and grooming requests
    • Discuss the desired groom, assess the coat, walk the client through the groom
    • Independently grooming and styling a wide variety of dogs to breed standard which will be delivered to a very high standard
    • Washing, drying, brushing, de-matting and styling
    • Work well independently but also as part of a busy team
    • Make sure all the customers and dogs are taken care of
    • Answering the phone to enquiries and bookings
    • Keeping the shop and grooming area clean
    • Deliver high standards of customer service
    • Advice on grooming, sales of dog food & accessories
