Experienced CNC Programmer required, to work for a precision engineering specialist, based in Nottingham.

The Nottingham client want to fulfill the CNC Programmer role, on a permanent basis. The CNC Programmer must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience, and must be ok travelling to the site.

Candidates must have experience of, and be confident in using fanuc programming.

Roles & Responsibilities

The CNC Programmer duties will include, but wont be limited to the following:

  • Set up machines in accordance with technical drawings
  • Make sure products meet design specifications - carry out QA tests to achieve this
  • Resolve issues with the machines as they arise
  • Carry out maintenance of machines i.e. sharpening, cleaning etc.

Skills required

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
  • Engineering background
  • Ability to use FANUC programming
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Good communication abilities

Shift times

7:30-4pm Monday to Thursday

7:30-12pm Friday

Payrate

£15-17 per hour depending on experience
