Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin

Our client, a leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractor with over 20 years' experience in the industry, is now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Dublin.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor costs against progress throughout the project and ensure that the directors are immediately informed of any problems.
- Assist with the preparation of tenders & priced BOQ's.
- Monitoring all correspondence issued by the design team regarding tender queries, clarifications, and tender addendums.
- Sourcing cost effective sub-contractors and issuing formal sub-contract orders.
- Attending site meetings with design and site teams where cost issues must be resolved / agreed.
- Liaise with Purchasing Manager in relation to materials and plant suppliers.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years Main Contractor experience in Ireland or UK.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or the equivalent.
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use specialist software including cubit, sage construct.
- Full clean driving license is this role will involve travel to sites.
