The Planned Works Team deal with larger more complex pieces of work including damp works, structural repairs and technical decants, refurbishments and ad hoc kitchen/ bathroom upgrades.

You will be responsible for:

  • Scaffolds - updating scaffold log, preparing rota for next week, receiving new handovers from contractors and passing to inspectors, receiving reports from inspectors and updating log, sending updated scaffold log to management twice per week, preparing and posting scaffold awareness letters where necessary
  • PWA - receiving requests, raising orders on QL, preparing PWA assignment letter to JRP, send all relevant info/docs/order to JRP, receiving awards and updating Swordfish and individuals who requested, receiving invoices from JRP and forwarding to relevant department
  • Structural works -raising orders on QL (upon request from manager or surveyors) and passing to structures, actioning any recommendations as per structural surveys received (ie Tree Proformas, raising CCTV and drain works, soil investigations, raising Asbestos orders on QL where required and monitor/chase completion)
  • Structures spreadsheet - monitoring and updating spreadsheet with any info passed to myself from members of the team, still dealing with historical jobs, trying to sort out pending issues and updating relevant folders
  • Asbestos removal - raising orders on QL to AA Woods as per manager's and/or surveyors' requests
  • Damp works - dealing with damp works spreadsheet and actioning accordingly as per manager's request
  • Any other Admin duties required in the planned team - dealing with internal/external queries, preparing docs for CDM meetings, checking for Asbestos surveys etc, covering phones when RLO is on annual leave

Good IT experience (Excel/Word and inhouse systems)

  • Good communication with the team, supply chains, residents and leaseholders
  • A team player
  • Good organisation skills
