Role and responsibilities

- Experience within an engineering environment

- CNC Milling and turning experience

- Happy commuting to and from the Sheffield area

- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings

- Ability to work in a medium to heavy machine shop area

- A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping

- Some fanuc programming experience would be advantageous

- The CNC miller/turner must be ok working under pressure

Working week details

The candidate must be ok with working 37 hour weeks with the chance of doing overtime which is time 1/2. Double time is also available on Sunday.

Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 15:30pm

Friday 07:00 - 12:00pm

- Hourly rate of £15-18

- 37 hour working week. Overtime payable at time and a half and double time on Sundays

- Prospect to condense 37 hour working week into four working days (after probation period)
