JOB TITLE: Multi Trade Tiler

SALARY BAND: £19ph - £22ph

LOCATION: Ivybridge

Multi Trade Tiler required in Ivybridge. Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Tiler to join their maintenance project in a live care home. You will be responsible for installing floor to ceiling ceramic tiling in wet rooms. Experience working within a care home in Building and Construction, or a similar environment will be beneficial. We expect the duration of this role to be 18 months.

Once this project is complete and Daniel Owen have secured a positive finishing reference, we will endeavour to find you further work.

Responsibilities:

  • installing floor to ceiling ceramic tiling
  • Measure and cut materials to ensure accuracy and fit
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and end clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Attend training sessions and keep up to date with new techniques and tools
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during installation
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Multi Trade Tiler or Bathroom Fitter
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
  • Must have a valid driving license and access to own transport
  • Must have own tools
