Quantity Surveyor opportunity with one of the most well established Quantity Surveying practices in Birmingham. This is a privately owned, owner managed Construction Consultancy that can boast several decades of experience in professional practice. Over this time they have evolved into a highly dynamic multi-disciplinary construction consultancy offering both Quantity Surveying services as well as Project Management and Building Consultancy. They have developed and maintained an excellent client base with repeat business still a high factor in their workload.
As this has recently grown they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Birmingham office. Much of their current work is for a national hotel chain delivering a programme of refurbishments as well as new build developments. Ideally you will bring at least 2 years post graduate experience, with a RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying. As you will be dealing directly with the client, the contract team and negotiating with the contractor, strong communication skills are essential; we're also looking for a confident and outgoing individual. You will need good analytical skills and a good basic understanding of contracts and measurement.

As well as a good, recent degree in Quantity Surveying, relevant industry experience in Quantity Surveying, you must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle, and must be already based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre.
