Asset Manager - Kent region
An amazing opportunity to work directly for a client organisation managing their Building Assets in the Kent region.
Salary:- £53,000 - £60,000 basic
Hybrid / Flexible working Monday to Friday with Friday afternoon off as they have reduced the working hours to a 34-hour week for a better work-life balance.
Location:- Kent - Sittingbourne
Role Description
The Resolute Group has been retained to identify and secure an Asset manager / Senior Building Surveyor to work for a key client in managing their building portfolio.
These include Residential, Commercial, and industrial units across the Kent region.
This is an opportunity to get involved with the strategic aspects of managing a portfolio, from the day-to-day tenants through to the investment required to maintain the asset life span. Using your professional advice and recommendations on various aspects of land and property acquisitions, disposals, Landlord and Tenant work and effective estate management.
As the Asset Manager you will need to be RICS chartered or working towards RICS chartership in 2024. With a small team around you, your role will be the main client contact for external commercial managing agents and lead on the commissioning and procurement of appropriate supporting contracts, such as valuations.
This position is a permanent role but if you are a contractor / Freelancer then a temporary position would be considered for a 6 month period while the permanent process happens. Due to the client we are supporting all contract / freelance positions are INSIDE IR35.
Qualifications:
- You must hold a degree or equivalent in a related subject and be either a Qualified Chartered Surveyor or taking your Chartership in 2024.
- Strong knowledge of property law, landlord and tenant contract law
