Key responsibilities

  • Direct management of team and HR responsibilities including staff attendance (holidays, sickness, punctuality) and
  • time management.
  • Effectively manage all team members KPIs
  • Carry out monthly one-to-ones with all team members, hold team meetings, complete probationary appraisals
  • where applicable and conduct promotion and pay rise meetings.
  • Conducting daily morning meetings with Property Managers (prioritization of work, monitoring workload issues,
  • recap of yesterday, plan for the day and for tomorrow)
  • To adhere and promote the Company's standard policies, core values and ethos
  • Developing new and existing team members by Identifying and promoting staff training
  • Helping the team to retain business and generate new leads
  • Manage a small portfolio of properties
  • Build and maintain relationships with Heads of Department and front offices
  • Handle and respond to complaints
  • Adhere to company processes and display professional and role model behaviour.

Skills required

  • 2 years' experience as a Property Management Team Manager
  • Exceptional organisational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert communicator capable of effectively managing conflict and solving problems
  • Ability to multi-task by employing effective time management strategies
  • Be well-presented and communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Confidence, enthusiasm and strong dedication to the job and company
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when faced with challenging situations
  • Create a motivational and positive working environment for team members
  • Delegate appropriate issues to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Work well under pressure
  • Create a trusting relationship with all team members
