Work as a Cad Technician for a design company who specialise in a niche sector within mechanical engineering working with large construction developers and commercial projects. Established over 10 years ago, this company has gained an extensive client base in the construction sector and are looking for a Cad technician with a strong mechanical background to join them. You'll work closely with the design team producing designs on bespoke and interesting projects on plant rooms, pipes and construction elements. Long term you'll receive training to deliver an excellent service and have long term stability.
Your role as CAD Technician will involve:
* Producing drawings on projects relating to plant rooms, construction elements and more
* Work alongside the design team ensuring designs are to client specifications
* Attend meetings and occasional visits to site for surveys
The successful CAD Technician will need:
* HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline relevant to building services, mechanical engineering or other
* Proficient working on Autocad, 3D or Revit software with experience working on M&E, building services or swimming pool designs
* Commutable to Oldham
