As our new Marketing Data Analyst, you'll have a major impact on helping us build the future. You'll work closely with our Marketing Business Partners, delivering accurate, relevant, and timely marketing selections, analysis and reports on customer behaviour and purchasing patterns. We're looking for an analytical thinker, hailing from a marketing background who not only reads the reports, but is able to interpret them and tell the story behind it.

Main Responsibilities

In the role you'll be:

  • Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports including a large share of the sales and marketing board insert
  • Supporting the development of Power BI reporting for sales and marketing, working closely with the BA team
  • Supporting business decision-making and marketing campaign planning by providing accurate and up-to-date intelligence on customers behaviour and channel performance
  • Leading on campaign analysis providing Marketing Business Partners and the wider marketing team with regular insight and campaign performance reports throughout the lifetime of a campaign. Including a full in-depth summary and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Initiating and managing projects to integrate the company's customer data to marketing platforms such as the email marketing system and CMS system.
  • Become the owner of core data systems, and the super-user of other data including COINs, Spotler, the Hub, Google Analytics and Power BI
  • Protecting and taking responsibility for the security and professional use of all company property and equipment and always ensure customer/third party contact and communications is, secure and protected within the business IT infrastructure in accordance with GDPR requirements.
  • At all times compling with responsibilities under the Company's Health & Safety, Environmental and Corporate
  • Providing full functional and technical specification for changes and integration with all digital marketing platforms.
  • Devising and implementing detailed test plans for change management inline with internal change approval processes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills using a range of data analysis or statistical techniques.
  • Degree in marketing or data analytics or relevant qualification
  • Ability to quickly understand the customer data infrastructure of the business and develop business cases for improvement.
  • Ability to take numerous and voluminous date sources and convert into meaningful insight.
  • Strong understanding of Power BI, Google Analytics, and their uses
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others, maintaining high morale and high performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive thinker that will help to mitigate last minute requests.
