Senior Electrical Engineering

Working within the Water sector delivering multiple design and build schemes across the North of England as part of the record investment happening in the AMP8 period

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Leeds Area (Flexible Hybrid Schedule - At least one office day per week)

The Opportunity:

The Resolute Group is working with a National consultancy with a dedicated Water team based in Leeds focused on Clean and Wastewater projects across the North of England. The team consists of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical design engineers and due to the number of projects being released for the AMP8 period need additional resources.

Role:

As a pivotal part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, the senior electrical engineer will:

  • Lead and execute electrical design projects, delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with various teams for feasibility studies, exploring new technologies and supply chain innovations.
  • Develop and implement electrical design standards, reporting to the Head of Design Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive engineering design tasks within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Review and evaluate design proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support the project lifecycle from conception to commissioning, involving regular site visits and participation in various engineering evaluations.
  • Emphasize TOTEX efficiency, focusing on long-term cost and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement for high-quality design and construction standards.
  • Uphold exceptional health and safety standards in design processes, adhering to company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Working in the Water sector within Design (Client or Consultancy or Contractor) but hands-on Design Engineer
  • UK Driving license as you will need to attend client sites if required on an Adhoch basis.
