Role: Rehab Agent
Location: Dublin
Salary: Negotiable DOE
The successful Water Rehab Agent will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a construction point of view. The Water Rehab Agent will be responsible for running numerous projects within urban and rural environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Fully aware of the techniques of sliplining, drilling, pipe insertion, and other methodologies associated with the Water industry (Irish/UK/Australia experience).
- Liaising and coordinating with Client and Client Representative to enable the successful delivery of projects with a view to maintain successful relationships.
- Reviewing and amending drawings with a high level of detail and ensure updates to drawings in line with feedback received.
- Commercially aware of projects costs and provide leadership within the project site team.
- Liaising with Contracts Manager and Project Manager to manage work and site resource requirements.
- Ensure customers' expectations are fulfilled and maintained to build confidence and trust.
- Ability to review, interrogate and improve project processes for greater efficiencies.
- Apply new technology in an innovative way to create new services and streamline delivery processes.
- Mentor junior members of staff and bring them up to a level required to allow further growth.
- Monitor progress of site work, ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Plan and oversee delivery of materials and manage any discrepancies where appropriate.
- Ensure that all work complies with client requirements and safety legislation alongside other legal requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing the traffic management as well as health and safety on-site and ensure all safety checks are carried out.
- Liaise with Local Authorities in the inspection of the condition of footways prior and post installation works.
- Liaise with the workflow department regarding the programming and scheduling of work.
- Update clients on work progress and act as first point of contact for members of the public and sub-contractors.
- Deal with complaints from customers about works being carried out.
- Collaborate with clients to enable them to maximise the value of their infrastructure.
- Manage administration tasks effectively and effectively manage any additional ad hoc tasks as required.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
- Full clean driver's license essential.
- A relevant qualification is desirable.
- Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
- Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Time management abilities to meet targets.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
